TELLBACKS Speaking helps less than 20 seconds in each period. change priorities with tellbacks. Students practice speaking without competition from students or teachers 10 minutes each period. In 500 periods students speak 100 hours. Tellbacks rapidly rehearse the content students will write later. The process organizes and integrates information at high speeds.
