Director of Strategic Development and Marketing-Accelerated Schools
Job Description: This person will be responsible for developing a strategic business plan for Accelerated Schools (a small private school in Denver, CO) that will cover aspects such as recruitment, advertising, fund raising, web-site promotion and development, developing a scholarship program, establishing an endowment fund and promotion as well as other aspects of a business plan.
Availability: Immediately. Open until filled.
Qualifications: Background in sales, marketing and strategic development. Willingness to work on commission for a major portion of the compensation package is required. Business degree is highly desirable. Must be able to pass a CBI security check and background investigation, fingerprint test, pass a pre-employment drug test, and a credit background check. Must be able to work as a team member, be a self-starter and be able to work independently. The applicant must also “qualify” to work in the U.S., as defined by all applicable federal laws. Basic computer skills are required as well as a high level of people skills.
Compensation: A negotiated base salary plus unlimited potential for commissions. Other benefits include a 403 (b) matching plan and partially paid individual health insurance available after 90 days of employment.
Contract: Year round contract with 10 days of national holidays off, plus one week of vacation time after one year of employment (with increasing time off after subsequent years). 5 Saturday retreat days, and two evenings for back-to school night and awards night are required. Renewable annually based on performance.

Performance Review: This person will report to the Executive Director or her/his designee. After a probationary period of 90 days the employee will be entitled to additional benefits as described above.
